Unfinishied Quest

Hello, I have a quest on my Journal called "An Initiate'a End", its quite a start quest, but the problem is that I cannot complete it. The quest says I have recovered the Mace and I should take it back, but the problem is that I dont have the mace on me, might have sold it a long time ago.

Btw, if I go back to the place where the mace should drop, it no longer drops.

Is there a way to remove the quest from my journal or a way to complete it?

Nope... That's one quest that has no way to fail. Either you complete it or you stay at it. One idea is to have an option where you tell the Cleric you're keeping the mace, failing the quest, but at least allowing to end the quest.

Once you access the mace drop, it won't drop again so you only have one chance to pick it up. If you sell it, it's gone forever. Double check it's not 1) In a town hall vault, a house chest (both houses), a chest in the wizard tower (both chests), in your bag of holding, equipment to a companion (in or not in your party).

If you complete the quest with a Cleric, you can keep the mace.
