Can't Get Fungus

I've been searching for a few days and still can't get any​fungus in caves,both bandit hideout and mirmek cave,pls help

Although the spawns are random you really should find some. Are you checking in the right place, bandits cave near the river? It actually is really hard to notice and I've passed over it a few times, so check carefully.
Eventually I'm going to edit the map to show spawns for that damn fungus since it confuses everyone.

Unlike orchids and other collectibles the fungus are static even if they are not collectible. You just have to keep checking each fungus in the caves. If it looks like a mushroom check it.

I must have gotten lucky, found my fungus in the bandit cave on the first go.

I think the fungus are the trickiest of the plant items to collect.
