Backstory

Chancer Malard, sorry, Chancellor Malard was a man of low means who ingratiated himself into higher society, at least as high as society gets on the edge of the world, though obedience and violence. The only thing worse than his brutality is his feigned accent.

He is particularly concerned about a notorious bandit gang.
