Backstory
A year ago Derina discovered clues as to the location of swashbuckling Imperial Loreseeker Mathris the Seafarer and thus potentially the location of his mythical Codex. She convinced the Grey Library to find her expedition of Loreseekers and magical Golems to the Wastes of the Ashen Cape, unfortunately her Golems were destroyed in the wasteland to the cost of a million gold coins and she has no Codex to show for it...
