A gifted young Islander actor and a daring adventurer, a protagonist in every sense.
Backstory
This troupe of mummers originally hail from the Corsair Islands, an archipelago off the shores of Friguld where the sun blazes, the seas warm, the jungles lush, and the audiences for guisers small and armed with cutlasses. It is unknown the journey these galoshins took, perhaps along the coastline witnessing the cut-throat Corsair influence in Figuld, and finding few coins in the desolate Port of Malan. Whatever the case these transient troubadours have settled, for the time being, adjacent to the historic port of New Anthur.
Their great draw is the artistic genius of leading man Laertes, descendent of a great playwright with deeper hints of heralding from an ancient Imperial Admiralty dynasty. Adored by locals and travellers alike; Varsilian nobles, snobbish about family legacies and always seeking their next boast, brave land and sea to see him and subsequently gasconade ostentatiously about his latest and greatest performance upon their return. A good turnover of gold for the town and the troupe, this pressures Laertes to create ever more extravagant masterpieces.

- saving him from the Manticore Whelp is rewarded with Icicle an extraordinarily powerful Light weapon if procured in the early-to-mid game.
