|Walkthrough=After completing [[Welcome to the House]], you will be able to enter the Seventh House's hideout in the [[New Garand Sewers]]. Here you will meet Kardagis, the leader of the guild. In order to be trusted by the guild, Kardagis would like you to handle a situation with a rogue group of smugglers lead by a man named Rodo. They are trying to circumvent the guild to increase their profits. Kardagis would prefer not to lose their income, merely convince them to rejoin the fold, so try not to kill them. One way or another, their activities must end.

The smugglers are using the waterways at night to move their merchandise, so be sure to start your search after 9pm.  Checking all the dock areas in New Garand will not produce anything, so they must be operating somewhere outside the city. Exit the city west into the [[Northern Inori]] and immediately head south along the water. Eventually you will come across Rodo and his men at work at a small wharf in the southeast corner of the map.

There are two outcomes when talking with [[Rodo]]: convince him to start making payments to the guild again or kill all his men. The only way to achieve the peaceful outcome is to keep calm when talking, and pass a level 2 [[Personality]] check. Additionally, you can pass a level 2 [[Intellect]] check after the [[Personality]] check to overlook [[Rodo]]'s previous due payments. Any other dialogue options will back Rodo into a corner and the talk turns confrontational. Prior to the fight, you will be poisoned, either by the tea or a dart to the back. His goons are like regular bandits, but Rodo is a little more durable. If the tide turns against you and you leave the area, the bandits will disappear into hiding. While this will progress the quest, it is the least desirable outcome, so its in your best interest to win the fight. Once the situation is handled, return to the sewers.

Regardless of how you handle [[Rodo]], [[Kardagis]] will consider the matter closed, and in gratitude offer you a chance to join the [[Seventh House]] thief's guild. If you take the oath, you will gain access to additional options within the guild and allowed to train in advanced skills. However, this is a lifetime membership and you can only join one guild, so join at your own discretion. The guild is designed to be the best suited for those playing the [[Rogue]] class. Your outcome with Rodo dictates how much experience, gold and reputation you earn.
