Lore

This ancient Tolassian tomb reeks of death... Part of this is due to the decay of animals and explorers who have died within its depths. However, it is mainly due to the necromantic energies causing the aforementioned corpses to rise as zombies, skeletons, and worse.

The zombification process for some reason slows, although does not stop, the decomposition of the corpses. However, the scent of rotting flesh seems even stronger as a side effect of whatever magics are used. Eventually, the flesh decays fully away and the skeletal remains continue to move. These poor souls, forever trapped, guarding the very place they attempted to rob of its treasures.

With walls made of gray quarried stone, beautiful statuary, well carved sarcophagi, as well as banners and tapestries this might even be a restful place to visit if it were not for the undead and deadly traps within.
