Well I WAS looking for an EASIER answer, your riddle sounds more like a quest than a hidden door. Im leaning towards crown of tol. But if it's been handed if for the quest it would be moot. I'll check the rivers, though I feel I'm following the directions off a fortune cookie...

The only thing vorators give is XP. If the planets are aligned and we're about to have a solar eclipse you might get an egg. As a 2 handed specialist they take chunks out of me, so I'll prey on easier targets that r in greater numbers to yield the same, if not more, XP (with loot drops to boot)...

Thank you, Dave. I hope it's as close to accurate as you designed the instances. And I must say, thank you for this game. It's as close to the old D&D game than most of the RPG's out to date, and I've enjoyed the hell out of it.

If you run any "dead zones", take cleric companion. She has bonuses against undead. Plus the heals are church My mistake on sabers, I meant death.

Update... I've been scouring the map and haven't come across blacked out arias, nor is pressing arias on the grand d map showing anything new. So I'm assuming it's a new dungeon, or an aria of a dungeon previously locked. To be Continued...

I think the rogue would have the hardest time considering the cleric has death resist. Arrows, however, are a different story...
