How to? Misplaced the Mysterious Letter

I have lost a mysterious letter what should i do know ?

What do you mean "lost" the letter? What does your quest log say exactly?
Did you put the letter in a town hall vault?
Are you in the unknown dungeon? (The letter is in a chest for you to recover.)
Did you search the magister's house and get the key? (You loose the letter when you get the key.)

Adaon steals the letter at the very beginning.
We get it back after going to the Magister's House.
After escaping the unknown dungeon, we need to go back to the house and search the Magister's body, and the letter transforms into a key.

So, if you have the key, everything is fine. The letter no longer exists.

PS: the letter is a quest item, so once you pick it up, it's impossible to drop it or sell it. Don't worry about that.

I guess it is possible to escape from the unknown dungeon without the letter... If that's the case, you can go back into the unknown dungeon from the sewers. Look for the big chest in the dungeon, the letter should be in there.

Main character awakes with inheritance letter, so normaly there is no chance to go out without it unless some bug has happened.

Oh, that looks like the mod bug David talked about. You must have been using a modded version. It corrupts all saves. If that's the case, there's nothing we can do.
