In-game equipment colours sometimes don't match the actual equipment colours.

For example, the colour of Ashen Chestplate is black. But after equipping it, my in-game character still showed wearing a white/silver-coloured armor. It's not a big deal, but I'd be really glad if the developer could look into it.
