Recalling

Allowing companions to completely stop fighting and use a scroll of recall would be really nice, specially when fighting mobs that can stun lock you

Companions CAN USE a Scroll of Recall. They can use all scrolls they met the requirement to use.
You have to use the scroll, the same way you use a potion, by opening up their inventory screen.

If you are referring to the challenge of telling them to run away a little bit., than use the scroll, to avoid getting interrupted or stun locked, that's a different issue.

Ya companions don’t seem to be able to use recall scrolls. When in combat nothing happens and the scroll is consumed

Okay, for clarity, the issue is:
Companions can't use Scrolls of Recall when actually fighting.
Companions can use scrolls when NOT fighting.

I guess the next question is can Companions use other scrolls while actually fighting?

The problem seems to only be with scroll of recall. I tested with several other scrolls including ones my warrior can’t cast and my companion seems to be able to use them fine both in and out of combat
