Sydarun Oasis

The Sydarun outpost in the Sydarun Oasis is Mercia's outermost frontier. Nestled between the fearsome Trollfens to the west, the dread Deadwood to the north, the brutal Inori desert to the east, and impenetrable mountains to the south, it is not a destination for the faint of heart.

And though trade between Varsilia and Merica is banned, affluent Mercians drink in The Signing Well with rough-sounding Varsilians or the exotic south, pouches of treasure get slipped, the location of good wagons given. And so the true reason for the Outpost's existence keeps going but is kept discreet.
