When you first visit the reactor level, you might find that you can't get very far if you are not authorized. There is a security door that requires a password to pass through, and if you don't have it, you will not be able to guess it. But once you are sent on a particular quest to the reactor level, you will be given the password that you need. Once you get past the security door, you might wish that you hadn't, since the level is again filled with killer robots, but it's harder to evade these robots than it was on the main level. The quest that you are sent to accomplish on this level is actually pretty easy, but the killer robots stand in your way. In addition to this quest, there is one unique item that you will need to acquire on this level. Beyond that unique item, there are a lot of random drops (medipack, armor, weapons, batteries, etc.) that will help you to better survive the ark.
