|Walkthrough=Brother Gabriel is the local priest of the Three in New Garand. You can find him by his small altar in the southeastern part of the city. He is aware of the growing number of undead coming out of the tomb in the nearby cemetery, but is far more wary of a darker presence he feels deeper inside the tomb. He beseeches you to steel yourself and attempt to eliminate the evil. The cemetery is located to the east of town, but you must head south first to get past the natural tree barrier.

You may have already come here during Forgotten Lore. If not, the eastern door leads to a guarded chest, the southern door is just extra Undead, and the way forward lies to the west.  At the end of the hall, you will come to a large room, with several Undead waiting. You will also find a sarcophagus and chest to loot, as well as a lever you should activate. Now head north and go east when given the chance. Near the door are three more undead to deal with, and then you are out on a series of bridges. Clear your way to the first platform. The door to the north is where your ultimate goal lies, but depending on your status, you may want to continue east during this trip. You will come to another platform with a few skeletons and spike traps. Grab the chest and assuming you used the lever, head north up the bridge. Here you will find a Librarian guarding an Ancient Tolassian Tome. Head back to the first platform after you have looted everything and enter the door.

Go slowly in this room, so you can pick off the Cultist without triggering the boss, the Tolassian Champion. He awaits you in the center of the room. Be sure to heal up and pop a Potion of Death Ward for good measure, then engage the champion. With a little care, he isn't too bad. After he is bested, you will be given a choice what to do with a jar of vile contents. Smashing the jar with your weapon is the most prudent choice. If instead you decide to open the jar, you will unleash the boss Nightwalker, who makes the champion look like teddy bear. You don't get any extra reward for beating the Nightwalker, so only attempt it if you are looking for a challenge or quick death. You can explore the rest of the dungeon if you're in good shape, but you are done here for now.

Return to New Garand and speak with Brother Gabriel at his altar again. He will be grateful the dark presence has been vanquished. Living up to his word, he gives you a Nivarian Cloak, which is useful in certain situations. You will also gain a little gold and reputation increase.
