By completing Quests, players can earn Reputation with any of several prominent groups, called factions, throughout the Exiled Kingdoms. There are currently sixteen known factions. Some of the factions clash with each other, and you may be forced to pick a side.
Kingdom Factions
Ilmara
The Holy Crown of Ilmara is a theocracy ruled by the clerics of The Three. The capital of Ilmara is Nivarian.
Mercia
The Kingdom of Mercia is a powerful militaristic nation with strong trader guilds. The capital of Mercia is Freetown.
Thuram
The Arcane Realm of Thuram is a magocracy ruled by the remains of the Imperial Wizards. The capital of Thuram is Icemist.
Varsilia
The Kingdom of Varsilia is ruled by old Imperial noble families and chivalrous orders. The capital of Varsilia is New Garand.
City Factions
Jabal (City)
A fortified village near the Jabal Hills.
Kingsbridge (City)
An old Imperial town in the Bluemist River.
Lannegar (City)

Rhöneis (City)
A small village up the course of the Bluemist River. 
Sydarun (City)
A village located south of the deadly Deadwood and on the edge of the inhospitable Inori Desert.
Guild Factions
Golden Hand
A large and powerful merchant guild extended over the Kingdoms. It often employs mercenaries to protect trade routes, or organizes expeditions in search of profit.
Seventh House
A thieves' guild, strong in both Varsilia and Mercia, and in particular in the big towns. The authorities have tried to shut it down, but they're always a step ahead.
Wizard's Guild
This mysterious organization is powerful in Thuram, but as other kingdoms need the service of magicians, they have allowed them to build wizard towers in other places.
Warrior's Guild
Fighters that are not highborn, and not part of the armies of the Kingdoms, usually join the ranks of this organization. They often work as bodyguards, mercenaries or escorts, but always in a honorable way.
Cultural Factions
Royal Loreseekers
An ancient order of sages and explorers, loyal to the Kingdom of Varsilia. Many of them are sorcerers and alchemists as well.
The Three
The Church of the Three is strong in Ilmara, and it quickly extends over the other kingdoms. It worships the three god-like beings that Ilmarans found in the Thyr Mountains. Unlike other cults, their clerics have divine powers.
Varannari
The clans of original inhabitants from this land before the Exiled Kingdoms were founded. They live in the wild forests.
