Background

When Death Magic is cast on a victim, the victim becomes acutely aware of the skeleton inside their own body and suffers damage as they vainly try to escape that skeleton. The Greater Ring of Death Ward helps the victim accept the skeleton within and thus take considerably less damage from Death Magic.
