Hill Giant

Background

Hill Giants are an enormous race of humanoids. Known for their extreme strength and constitution, they are a very social humanoid often found in small groups. Loreseekers have reported that Hill Giants set traps near their inhabitations to catch intruders and their favorite food, Bears.

Use extreme care when fighting them, even a single Hill Giant can be a tough fight for an inexperienced adventurer. It also is a well-known fact that Hill Giants are far more aware of their surroundings than other creatures, including Minotaurs. They are aggressive towards humans and will attack immediately – often initiating the fight with a Bash as a preemptive strike that knocks the target senseless. This strike is always followed immediately by more pummeling... all of this, however, has not stopped brave adventurers seeking Golden Apples.

They seem to be fond of shiny things, as they commonly carry Small Diamonds
