Lore

These mines were once the pride of Lannegar, spewing forth an abundant supply of the prized blue-steel ore. Once the safe upper levels had been stripped of ore the miners dug deeper seeing new veins, they found ore but many miners vanished too. Adventurers were hired but it made no difference, something ancient and evil lurked beneath. No matter, around 50 years ago the lower tunnels entrance collapsed into rubble. Whatever few thin veins remaining of ore were exhausted and so the mine declined, the last remaining men displaced as goblins infested it.

Notes

  • After completing the quest Head Hunting, the south-eastern part of the mine will be secured by Guards. Goblins, traps, and containers within this area will no longer spawn.
