Lore

The towering pines and wide spread oaks of the Sagar Forest get smaller and smaller as you go north until you finally reach the Wyvernsblood River. North of the river, which is crossed by a simple wooden bridge, is a winter landscape. The cold winds blowing in from the Wyvern Mountains with their glacier filled peaks keep the area nice and cool. This environment though is perfect for the arctic weed Merple. While few have much, if any use, for this plant, occasionally alchemists and their ilk find the plant and its ability to not only survive, but thrive, in arctic conditions fascinating.
Few brave the snowy plains north of the glacial flow. With White Wolf, Wyvern Whelp and Bandits it is not the safest area for travelers or aspiring botanists.
