Safe Passage is a quest given to you by Liserpix at Sydarun Oasis.

Liserpix needs a bodyguard to escort her from the Sydarun Oasis encampment to a guard station in the South Jabal Hills. She is willing to pay 500 gold for your services.

Detailed Walkthrough
Once you're Level 6 or higher, Liserpix will appear near the near the item shop in the Sydarun (City). She sees that you are well armed and asks if you would be willing to escort her across the wildlands. The job will earn you 500 gold if you can get her safely across The Trollfens and to the outpost in South Jabal Hills. If you stick to the road, it should be fairly uneventful.
Pick up the road heading west out of the encampment and head into The Trollfens. Avoid straying from the road, as Liserpix will attack nearby enemies. If she dies the quest is failed. Follow the road north into South Jabal Hills. Be careful, as the true reason she needs a bodyguard is just up ahead. The road goes through a narrow gap in rocks. Here you will be ambushed by an Outlaw Chief and three bandits who want the gems carried by Liserpix. If Lisepix dies during the ambush, the quest fails. Protecting her in the fight is crucial as she's not very strong. If she survives, head west a short way to the guard outpost.
At the outpost, you'll get a chance to confront Liserpix about the ambush. You can accept the originally promised gold, threaten or attack her for more gold, or pass an Intellect 2 check to peacefully convince her to pay more. Killing Liserpix will let you loot her body for gold and the gems she was carrying, but doing so will incur a severe reputation hit with Mercia.

Notes
- It is possible to avoid the ambush by going north off the road in the South Jabal Hills, heading through the lower canyon and coming into the station from the north.
- It is possible to kill the Bandit Leader before the ambush, the ambush dialogue will start regardless.
- Using a teleport scroll or teleport skill will let you travel directly to Freetown, skipping the ambush all together.
- Liserpix won't spawn until the character is at least Level 6.
