The phantasmal visage of the gentle Mercian Prince who because a Knight, then a Saint.
Backstory
Saint Admus was once a gentle Mercian prince blessed at birth by The Three, engaged to the Ilmaran Princess Zudea. However, his brother along with scheming nobles deposed him and tried to murder him. He fled to Ilmara where visions told him that reclaiming the throne would cause a long civil war in Mercia.
So instead he became an errant knight, serving those in need. What a sight he was... gauntlets of might grasping his righteous Paladin's Longsword, yet always showing humility by wearing sandals not boots. Eventually he became weary with old age so he built The Abbey in the forest in order to preach to the Varannari, and he gathered disciples to assist such as the Abbot Marcillus.
