After completing [[Welcome to the House]], you will be able to enter the Seventh House's hideout in the [[New Garand Sewers]].  Here you will meet Kardagis, the leader of the guild. In order to be trusted by the guild, Kardagis would like you to handle a situation with a rogue group of smugglers lead by a man named Rodo.  They are trying to circumvent the guild to increase their profits. Kardagis would prefer not to lose their income, merely convince them to rejoin the fold, so try not to kill them. One way or another, their activities must end.


The smugglers are using the waterways at night to move their merchandise, so be sure to start your search after 10pm.  Checking all the dock areas in New Garand will not produce anything, so they must be operating somewhere outside the city. Exit the city west into the [[Northern Inori Desert]] and immediately head south along the water. Eventually you will come across Rodo and his men at work at a small wharf in the southeast corner of the map.


There are two outcomes to talking with Rodo: convince him to start making payments to the guild again or kill all his men. The only way to achieve the peaceful outcome is to keep calm when talking, and pass a level 2 [[Personality]] check. Any other dialogue options will back Rodo into a corner and a fight will break out. Thenfigjt starts with you His goons are like regular bandits, but Rodo is a little more durable. Once everything is wrapped up, return to the sewers.

Smugglers in the Night is a quest given to you by Kardagis in the New Garand Sewers.

Quest Overview

The Seventh House, a thieves guild, controls the crime in New Garand. Their leader, Kardagis, has discovered a few smugglers operating off the books. Pay them a visit and see if you can get them to return to the fold.

Quest Steps

  1. (Must complete Welcome to the House)
  2. Speak with Kardagis about work
  3. Exit to the Northern Inori Desert
  4. Locate the smugglers at the small dock
  5. Diffuse the situation
  6. Return to Kardagis
