At first glance, the Sunken Citadel just seems like part of the Lost Kingdom quest. But it's more than that. One must solve the puzzle of the Citadel in order to reach the Ark. (It doesn't look like it at first, but the Citadel is set up like a puzzle that must be solved in order to lower the magic barrier. And once you have solved the puzzle, braving return trips to the Citadel will be rewarded with drops of expensive armor and valuable elixers, as well as lots of experience points. But beware, because the minotaurs here are tougher than the minotaurs in the Maze of Lanth.
