It's setted as a puzzle, consisting of 9 levers hidden behind 9 secret doors, that must be solved in order to lower the magic barrier and so reach the Ark of Lothasan. Clues are scattered around and appoint to 3 levers to be pushed, the one in northwest corner, the one in northeast corner and one right above. When this dungeon resets, the magical barrier is turned back on and the levers are all set to OFF. Trips to the Citadel may be rewarded with drops of expensive armor and valuable elixirs, as well as lots of experience points but beware, because the Ashen Minotaurs here are tougher than the minotaurs in the Maze of Lamth.
