Detailed Walkthrough
This is one quest that requires a bit of patience. If you receive this quest before you have access to the Ashen Wastes (which you will not until late in the game), just put this quest in the back of your mind and come back to it later. If you have access to the Ashen Wastes. then enter the Sunken Citadel. The Underking who has the crown is behind a magical barrier and then through a door to the left past the magic barrier. If you manage to kill him, you will get the crown. Lowering the magical barrier though is a bit tricky. The maze in front of the barrier has 9 levers hidden behind 9 secret doors. Each lever is initially in the OFF position. There are certain levers that must be turned into the ON position, and all of the remaining levers must be left in the OFF position. If you get the right combination of levers, the barrier is lowered.
Hint 1: With 9 levers each of which can be ON or OFF, there are 512 possible combinations. If you try to work through all 512 combinations, you will drive yourself mad.
Hint 2: Each of the levers is numbered. The row closet the magical barrier has, from left to right, 1, 2, and 3. The next row has 4, 5, and 6. The last tow has 7, 8, and 9.
Hint 3: If you have set four levers to ON, you have turned on too many levers.
Hint 4: The correct combination of levers will add up to 10. (Warning: Not just any combination of 10 will work. There is one right combination.
Hint 5: Two of the numbers are odd and one of the numbers is even. The even number is more than the sum of the two odd numbers.
Hint 6: When this dungeon resets, the magical barrier is turned back on and the levers are all set to OFF. So don't forget the solution.
