Backstory

The first interaction with Valeran in Dragon Coast. Choosing the second option at the beginning of the conversation, or threatening Valeran at any point, will result in him attacking you. In this scenario, you have the option to kill him or simply run away from him. Otherwise, by passing an Intellect 3 check and an Intellect 5 check will be possible to avoid a fight. In this scenario, you can ask Valeran how to survive the Ashen Wastes or where to find Amarisa. He will tell you that you need to find something with the Anti-Rad property, and that Amarisa tried to sabotage the gate and is probably being kept in the Forsaken hideout. If you did not kill Valeran, he will be found again in Ark of Lothasan (Upper Deck) and will vote for you in the debate. If you win the debate he will also help you to fight the Dimensional Parasite.
